Welsh Government – One-page Document: ‘Autism: What does the Code mean for you?’

Welsh Government have created a one-page document which outlines the duties placed on Local Authorities, Local Health Boards and NHS trusts in the Code of Practice on the Delivery of Autism Services.

The one-page document is called ‘Autism – What does the Code mean for you?’

The document is primarily for Local Authorities, Local Health Boards and NHS Trusts and Regional Partnership Boards across Wales.

It clearly sets out the requirements made by the Code in four key areas:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis
  • Health and Social Care Services
  • Awareness Raising and Training
  • Monitoring and planning
