During Tourette’s Awareness Month, Tourettes Action are running a campaign called #TourettesHurts which aims to highlight the impact that Tourette’s can have on those with the condition, and those around them, and destigmatise Tourette’s by educating and advertising.
The campaign will show the general public what the reality of Tourette’s looks like, dispelling some of the myths that surround it.
Tourettes Action have created a series of posters (shown above) to be used during awareness month, and encourage you to share and display these in various locations, for example:
- GP surgery
- Workplace
- Local community centre
- School
- College
- Pharmacy notice board
- Local CAMHS
- Hospital display board
- Citizens Advice Centre
