CARING FOR PEOPLE – KEEPING PEOPLE WELL

Cardiff and Vale UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team within Cardiff and Vale UHB (University Health Board).

Cardiff is a thriving city with excellent transport links and easy access to beautiful beaches and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Vale of Glamorgan covers rural villages and seaside towns.

Cardiff and Vale UHB serves a diverse population of almost 485,000 people across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Around 10% of our residents speak Welsh and around 25 % of children entering school in Cardiff do not speak English or Welsh as their home language.

This post is part time (0.5 w.t.e.) and is fixed term to 31.03.2018. The successful candidate will be working within the newly created Integrated Autism Service (IAS). The IAS will provide assessment, diagnosis and support to older children and adults with autism in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. There will be an emphasis on multidisciplinary working, working with families and working with our partners outside of the health board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this post.

Closing date: 29th May 2017
